To respond to this Inquiry, the NHS Alliance’s PPI Network held a moderated Tweetchat #21stPCC on 09 July to crowd‐source its response. Participants included all those interested in spreading and embedding person-centred care, and everyone was welcome to contribute.
The Tweetchat was cascaded extensively on Twitter, with wide circulation of agenda and retweets of the invitation to hundreds of thousands of people. 159 contributors from all walks of life and care experience participated in the Tweetchat: GPs, community pharmacists, people who use services, community development practitioners, policy makers, CEOs from national bodies, commissioning support organisations, nurses, housing experts, physiotherapists, district nurses, person centred solution and care providers, and health educators. This rich mix of participants resulted in high quality insights and thoughtful debate, which is reflected in this response.
